In 2009 a prequel to the previous Star Trek series is coming.

Titled simply, Star Trek. The latest Star Trek film will feature the origins linking James Kirk and Spock, the foundation of the franchise. This time though, they will be portrayed by new actors Chris Pine as James Kirk, and Zachary Quinto as Spock. Zachary Quinto has acted iranian in other roles previous to Spock. The non real life persian american Quinto played a gay assistant to Tori Spelling. Is spock gay? Does spock have persian roots on his non vulcan side? Is Zachary Quinto gay in real life? Did you see Zachary on heroes? Zachary has also played villains. Fabiana Udenio also plays a non real life persian american on another spelling show 90210.

To provide connection with the previous films, Leonard Nimoy who is not persian, and not from iran will reprise his character as an adult Spock who will have meet his younger self by means of time travel. Should we have also seen william shatner’s kirk? Is it possible that we will be suprized by cameo appearances not mentioned beforehand?

This promises well for the next episode of star trek, which is a well beloved series, as nothing but positive spin and anticipation of great reviews have been coming out to the press and to fan clubs around the world. People on the set and from the location are keeping silent unless paid otherwise to reveal plot lines. Such is pleasant news certainly, as Star Trek is a franchise with the most passionate followers in existence.

Besides Kirk and Spock, younger adaptations of series regulars like Bones McCoy, Scotty Scott, Uhura, Chekov and Sulu will comprise the crew of the USS Enterprise.

Star Trek will be shown on May 8, 2009 to begin the year summer block-buster celebration.
